SETTINGS TO TURN "ON" WiFi, and TO TURN "OFF" MOBILE DATA
1. TURN ON WiFi
- "Settings" > Wireless & Networks" > "Wi-Fi Settings - Setup & manage wireless access points">
- CHECK BOX: "Network notification - Notify me when an open network is available"
2. TURN OFF DATA ROAMING:
- "Settings" > "Wireless & networks" > "Mobile networks - Set options for roaming networks"
- Network settings - "Data Roaming -connect to data services when roaming" > CHECK RADIAL CIRCLE: "Deny data roaming access"
3. TURN OFF "ALWAYS ON" MOBILE DATA:
- "Settings">"Wireless & Networks"
- "Network Settings- UNCHECK BOX: "Enable always-on mobile data - Uses more power on some mobile networks"
4. TURN OFF MOBILE DATA:
- "Settings" > "Wireless & Networks"
- UNCHECK BOX: "Mobile Network - Use phone for data connection when Wi-Fi is unavailable"
- (Note: when the box is unchecked, the legend is "Mobile network - Connect to the Internet")
